Project Brief
This boutique theme park is designed with an incredible themed world that seems to have formed from the ancient, unique lush landscape of the area. Interspersed amongst tall, green trees are stranger looking tree stumps, giant plants, vines and flowers, forming a magical land that envelops rides and attractions. Guests make their way into this visual treat along an imaginative walkway of imagination, high above the ground or, at ground level, on paths winding their way through the landscape. Fun and family time is just as important and the attractions found here are not only thrilling, but interactive and educational as well. Guests are immersed in the natural wonders as they test their skills on a ropes course, explore all the fun to be found in a gigantic tree and compete against family and friends on a challenging adventure golf course.
The rock bar was a late addition to the design, and it is located in one of the two (artificial) mountains in the park. This mountain is host to a jeep ride, which entrance I themed as an old car repair garage. I dressed the interior of the bar on the same theme, with an eclectic mix of paraphernalia and quirky chic artefacts.
Finally, I developed the primary and secondary signage with a vintage look and feel, with a badge. Initially with a bear, but at client’s request with a guitar. I drew each letter as I could not find my envisioned vintage font in Cyrillic. I designed them in a way so that they could easily be used as a logos to create merchandising and branded items as well.
For each flat design, I also prepared a schematic design with indicative dimensions, materials mood board and colours.
